How we handle your data
Last updated 26 October 2026
Who we are
Litoribus Limited is the data controller. We are a private company limited by shares registered in Ireland, company number 825856, with a registered office at 3 Waterville Row, Waterville, Dublin 15, D15 R652, Ireland. We also trade as Litoribus Group.
For anything on this page, write to contact@litoribus.com.
What we collect
The contact form is the only place this site asks you for personal data. It asks for your name, email address, the reason for your enquiry and its details. A phone number and how you heard about us are optional.
We use no analytics tools. There is no tracking, no advertising, and no profiling of visitors on this site. We do not load fonts or any other asset from a third party, so opening a page here does not tell anyone else that you did. Like any web server, ours logs each request it receives: the time, the page asked for, your IP address, the description your browser sends of itself, the page that linked to us, and technical details of the response (its status, size and timing). From that log we count page views in total. We never count per person, and we use no cookies.
Why we use it, and on what basis
We use it to read and answer your enquiry, and to keep a record of the exchange. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to someone who has contacted us about our business, under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Where the enquiry is about entering into a contract, the basis is Article 6(1)(b).
We keep the request log to run the site, keep it secure and count page views in total. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating a secure website and knowing, in total, how it is used, under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Who else sees it
Your submission is delivered to two services that act as our processors:
- Slack, so we see the enquiry promptly.
- Google Sheets, where it is recorded.
The request log is kept by Google Cloud, which hosts this site, also as our processor.
Slack and Google are based in the United States, so your data may be transferred outside the European Economic Area. Those transfers rely on the European Commission's adequacy decision for the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and, where applicable, standard contractual clauses.
Enquiries may be handled by Litoribus Limited or by the group company the enquiry concerns. We do not sell your data or share it with anyone outside the group and the processors above.
How long we keep it
For up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless the enquiry leads to an ongoing business relationship, in which case we keep it for as long as that relationship lasts and for any period we are required to keep records. You can ask us to delete it sooner. The request log is deleted after 30 days.
Spam protection
The contact form uses Google reCAPTCHA to tell people from bots. It loads only when you start filling the form in, not when you open the page, so simply reading this site does not contact Google. Once it loads, Google receives information about your interaction under its own privacy policy and terms.
What we store on your device
Nothing of our own. This site sets no cookies and writes nothing to your browser's storage, which is why you are not being asked to dismiss a cookie banner.
Google reCAPTCHA does set its own storage, but only after you begin using the contact form, as described above. If you never use the form, nothing is stored.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict how we use it, or to object to our using it. You can also ask for it in a portable format. Write to contact@litoribus.com and we will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission.
